Originally slated for August 1st, a few reputable retail doors have already received the much talked about Air Jordan 2010 Outdoor (also known as Air Jordan 2010 Outdoor Playground in some circle). In many aspects, the Air Jordan 2010 Outdoor is one, if not the most, definitive sneaker in relation to Michael Jordan’s career. The seemingly redundant 6-row stitch work on forefoot and heel serves as reinforcement and a representation of Jordan’s 6 NBA Championship titles. The script-like etching around the midsole tells of MJ passion of the game. As the name stated, the Air Jordan 2010 Outdoor is made to last. The armor-like toe cap in addition to the solid rubber outsole will endure any punishments on or off the court. Mammoth mid-foot cross straps, in very fitting reptilian pattern, means a snug fit anytime, all the time. Still, all these appointments do not equate to weight. A fore-foot Zoom Air provides lightweight cushioning while Air-Sole unit at the heel gives the ultimate shock absorption. Plus a contoured Phylon midsole to reduce the weight further. Look for the Air Jordan 2010 Outdoor at your local Jordan Brand retailers or reserve a pair for the August 1st launch.

First in suede, now Jordan L’Style II undergoes a makeover in patent leather. Streamlined and subtle, the silhouette lives up to its name. Still, being that it is from the Jordan Brand franchise, expect certain performance appointments such as forefoot overlay, ankle strap, and Air Sole unit at the heel. Otherwise, Jordan L’Style II could pass as a casual footwear. Now available at NikeStore.com

The Pro-Keds Super aka 69er was the first classic sneaker for New Yorkers on and off the court. These were also known as the original Uptowns with heads in Harlem and the Bronx. Undoubtedly these gained popularity on the basketball court and also had much love from the streets with hip hop pioneers donning the kicks. There are two colorways produced for each Lo and Hi styles made with ripstop material on the uppers. Brand new 69er tongue tag is color coded as with the ankle rubber patch on the Hi’s. Old school 10mm cotton laces and gold lace holes finish off the classic sneakers.

This will be a parenting dilemma– do you think your child is more of a Filthy Lucre kind of guy, or will he grow up to be a little wild and and enjoys the spotlight? After showing you the children’s collection from adidas Originals by Originals Jeremy Scott with miniature versions of the JS Wings and track suit, adidas Originals by Originals Kazuki Kuraishi has also collaborated with LUKER By NEIGHBORHOOD to create some mini-me items as well. The collaborative Superstar 80s have been reworked to fit the infants and trotting toddlers, and– just because things are getting smaller doesn’t mean details are getting sacrificed. Everything from the logo to collab tongue tag has been retained. On the apparel side, t-shirts and track suits have also been shrunken to fit. These will be hitting stores in August as well, so you will have a few moments to consider if you want the little one to be more flamboyant like Jeremy Scott, or a little understated like Kuraishi and LUKER by NEIGHBORHOOD.

The Pro-Keds Royal CVO Perf Mid was first introduced back in 2008 in Japan. Based on the basic Royal silhouette, the upper is constructed of perforated leather in gray for the Lo model and black for the Mid model. The stylish aesthetic is accented by padded collar, aluminum eyelets and laced with matching shoe laces. Color coded vulcanized rubber midsole still features the iconic Powerstripes logo, yet it is also color coded to leave only the outline. Adding to the premium feel, the Pro-Keds logo is embossed in a subtle manner.

Last July 6th was the release of debut album “Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty” from Big Boi. To celebrate the release, Converse got together with the Atlanta native on a pair of exclusive Chuck Taylors. It is a simple design that does not dominate the classic silhouette of the sneaker. The tongue is printed with the Big Boi logo in single color that stands out on the all white Chuck Taylor. Each side of the outer heel is printed with “Sir Lucious Left Foot” and “The Son of Chico Dusty”. Big Boi explains what Converse means to him and about the design motives.

The Jordan Brand roster includes standout players like Dwyane Wade, Gerald Wallace, Joe Johnson, and Mike Bibby, who are shown in commercials advertising the Air Jordan 2010 Outdoor and the Air Jordan I (1) Alpha Outdoor. The draw is that the classic silhouette of the Air Jordan I (1) takes on updated technology, like zoom air and a removable strap, that allows the shoe to morph into a great streetball shoe. The Air Jordan 2010 Outdoor has a much different look than the Air Jordan 2010, mostly due to the cross-straps which are meant to add both stability and durability to the streetball model. Check your local Jordan retailers for these releases and enjoy the outdoor game while the weather still permits it. Check the two videos after the jump.

Mad Decent is the name of the Philadelphia-based record label spearheaded by Wesley Pentz, whose better known as Diplo, the Grammy-nominated producer of M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes.” Diplo also makes up one half of Major Lazer, along with the UK’s Switch. As an influential label that’s home to Blaqstarr (who has also produced many tracks for M.I.A.), South Rakkas Crew, and Rusko (to name a few), Mad Decent is often ahead of the curve in new music. In this collaboration with eS, Diplo’s Erving model features a tonal black upper complimented by lime green hits on the eyelets, laces, and the diplodocus logo stitched on the heel. For the Mad Decent Taido model, a reggae-inspired, yellow, red, and green gradient fade is used on the collar and heel portion of the shoe and on the “GET MAD” logo embossed on the tongue. These drop soon at your local eS retailer, so support progressive independent music and look fresh all at once with these models.

In the name of war (well, true in a sense, exaggeration in another), Nom de Guerre has partnered up with Converse once again after their collaboration on the (RED) project to create an ultra simple and pared down pair of black rubberized cotton Skid Grip, clandestine and perfect for fall. This weekend, on July 30, the shoe will launch alongside a short film directed by Zach Gold, featuring two military groups in conflict, but of course, donning the new Nom de Guerre for Converse Skid Grip CVO. The launch will also coincide with the launch of Nom de Guerre’s Fall/Winter 2010 collection “Countdown to Violence” and its online retail, so stay tuned and keep an eye out for the shoes to hit Nom de Guerre on July 30. On a side note, the film will also be available online starting August 2 online at www.nomdeguerre.net. And, for those who would like a little background to the film, according to Nom de Guerre, it “explores these themes with a lens on group solidarity, tension, and ideas of fraternity and sublimating one’s identity to operate within a group”
